Welcome!

I write romantic fantasy where magic is real and love is dangerous.
My books are full of genre-blending plot twists and impossible choices that will make you suffer in the best way possible. (Not to mention so. much. yearning.)
Two of my romantic fantasy series are now available:
🗡 Minutes Before Sunset – a Midwest-inspired rural romantasy where the “dark side” are actually the good guys (and everyone has two faces—literally!)
⚡ Bad Bloods – a dark dystopian fantasy that’s part X-Men, part rebellion, all heart (& found family)
When I’m not writing, I work in Art Rights & Permissions at Penguin Random House Audio and bake cookies at midnight while binging K-dramas. I’m also a cat mom to two mischievous gremlins. I’m represented by Gallt & Zacker Literary agency.
Ready to chat books? ☕ You can reach me at via my Contact page. I’ll be drinking coffee when I read your message.
Talk to you soon!

Hi Shannon, I just wanted to say how much I love the creativity of your blog. You write that you have suffered tragic losses in your life. So have I. Writing and reading have helped me in my grief. Thanks for the like! Best of wishes with your writing!
Best wishes for what has stared as a promising and creative career. Your surplus love of cat reminded me of a young character appearing in my next book who loves her pony exceedingly if not excessively. Warmest regards.
Hi Shannon thanks for following my blog! I just followed you 🙂
Hi Shannon, thank you for stopping by my blog. Your achievements are very impressive and I wish you well for your future in writing.
Hi Shannon. Thanks for the follow. Keep reading and writing. 🙂
I am in awe of you: published your first novel when you were 16! Wow! You are a true inspiration. Thank you for following my blog, it gave me the opportunity to find out about yours 🙂
Hi Shannon. Thanks for following my blog! I look forward to reading more of yours.
It looks like you have a bright future ahead of you, and I’m sure your mother would be proud of you. (I speak as a mom here because I have two daughters about your age, and they are both excellent writers.)
I also love Humphrey Bogart (Have you see To Have and Have Not?), cats, and coffee. 🙂
Bogart is adorable. You can never love a cat too much. Sorry for your losses, your mom when you were so very young and your roommate more recently. Continued success to you.
Hi,
I like your introduction and look forward to reading your blogs. I especially like that you are a fan of the Green Bay Packers. I have been a fan for years.

Shannon, thank ou for checking out my blog. I enjoyed your About page. Yes, life is stranger than fiction and we are indeed the lucky ones who have experienced that. And by the way, I have two black kitties I adore much as well. They, along with another big fluffy boy, have their picture are posted on the blog somewhere.

Hello, Shannon, and thanks for stopping by my blog on my novel mechanic of fortune. You are much advanced from me in running a blog. Congratulations. I’m wondering if you would like to read my novel entire, instead of just the snippets I’ve been posting by way of introducing that story. Your literary career is off to a very fine start! Best wishes to you! .

If you ever need assistance or would like a second pair of eyes, let me know. My “paying” career is a proofreader, though I enjoy helping others out, especially self-publishers like myself. I’ll stop by your blog as well! Have a great day!!
