About

Welcome!

CwdWbODUQAAdrqY

I write romantic fantasy where magic is real and love is dangerous.

My books are full of monster girls, the boys who are obsessed with them anyway, and impossible choices that will make you suffer in the best way possible. But don’t worry! I believe in hard-won happy endings. If you love dual POV romance, emotional twists, and finales that feel earned and satisfying, you’re in the right place.

Two of my fantasy series are now available:

🗡 Minutes Before Sunset – a Midwest-inspired rural romantasy where the “dark side” are actually the good guys (and everyone has two faces—literally!)
Bad Bloods – a dark dystopian fantasy that’s part X-Men, part rebellion, all heart (& found family)

When I’m not writing, I work in Art Rights & Permissions at Penguin Random House Audio and bake cookies at midnight while binging K-dramas. I’m also a cat mom to two mischievous gremlins. I’m represented by Gallt & Zacker Literary agency.

  10. Hi Shannon, thanks so much for following jesusbea.com! Appreciate the interest; I hope it’s a blessing; and I’m thankful to be connecting with you and your blog as well. Extremely insightful…love the advice and transparency. Thanks again!

  11. Shannon, I’m so glad you stopped by ritaLOVEStoWRITE and decided to follow the blog. I hope you’ll find some interesting bioBLOGS or recipes in the near future (or on the backlog) that tickle your fancy. I didn’t do a full blown Bogey Blog — I do them on the subject’s birthday, and Bogart’s b-day is Christmas, so I did a combination of quotes — but I’ve got a Lauren Bacall blog post that gets a hit almost every day (weird). Anyway… Keep writing! Cheers, Rita

  12. I’ve been nominated for the ‘Liebster Award’ and wish to nominate your blog as one of my eleven nominees. Why? Because I find your words fascinating day-after-day. If this string of people nominating awards gets at least one more person to your blog I’ll consider it a success.

    Here are the rules:

I wish you the best of luck on your writings. However, it sounds like your plentiful experience doesn’t need any “luck” at all. :]
