Lately, a lot of events have been happening, so I decided I’m going to start posting “Author Announcements” which will be posts dedicated to updating everyone on my current projects. I have a few today that I hope you will enjoy. I also need your help!
Minutes Before Sunset is on Novelunity’s February Poll, and I need YOUR vote.
Novelunity is a website dedicated to showcasing new authors. It’s a fantastic website for readers and writers alike, so I would really love to connect with you over there. Here’s the link to my profile. I hope you’ll take a moment to vote for Minutes Before Sunset by clicking here. I’m currently in second place, so I really need everyone’s support 😀 Thank you!

I FINALLY received my diploma. Isn’t it beautiful? I have to admit that this moment made my graduation finally feel real to me. I’ve been struggling without it, because I didn’t walk, so I didn’t have a moment that made me feel like I completed college. Silly, I know. But it almost made me cry to see the single piece of paper that represents all of my hard work at school over the past few years.
I officially have 100 ratings on Goodreads – thank you for supporting my novels by reading and reviewing them. It means a lot to me that you take the time to express your thoughts. Thank you.
In other news, the review copy for Seconds Before Sunrise is ready, so if you’re interested in reviewing the second novel of The Timely Death Trilogy on your blog, I would love to hear from you. I have a limited amount of copies, so please email me at shannonathompson@aol.com. I would also love it if you would simply like to showcase it on your website on the release day, so email me for that, too. 😀 I am also open for interviews (I love interviews)
Let’s make the release a great day!

Congrats on getting your diploma! It looks very official and fancy 😀
Thank you! It’s in a pretty red and black frame now 😀

Congratulations on such a wonderful accomplishment!! You should be very proud of yourself :).
Thank you :] I think the graduation finally feels real.

I will not walk for my masters graduation. I hope I don’t have to wait too long for my degree to show up. I want the world to see how happy reaching a goal will make me.
I can’t wait to read Seconds Before Sunrise. I noticed the name is a line from the Minutes Before Sunset. I have a few pages left to read, which I will do today, but really don’t want it to end. I will save all of what I want to say for my review.
Good job!
Oh! Congratulations. KU told us we wouldn’t receive them until March, so I was really happy to receive it in the mail early, but it still took two months to get it.
And, yes! The title of book two is a line in book one. That section is a hint as to what the second book will entail. You can also find the title of the third novel in the second novel as a hint. 😀 I’m glad you noticed it.
I am looking forward to your review! If you would like to review Seconds Before Sunrise, feel free to email me at shannonathompson@aol.com.

Thank you, Heather! I sent you a copy of Seconds Before Sunrise by the way. I hope you enjoy it. :]

I’m sure that I will!
I am planning to start reading tonight and will post a review ASAP. Can’t wait to see what happens next in the Timely Death Trilogy! 🙂

Congratulations, Shannon!! This is fantastic! I have one similar…but mine is from Kansas State Universtiy… not that it’s better or anything. 😉 I do love a fun weekend in Lawrence. My BIL (Masters in Arch Eng) lives near Kentucky Street I believe, which is right off the busy night life street, anyway. It’s been a few years and the street names escape me. We could walk to the best bread/coffee shop for breakfast.
Loved it!
Thank you! I’ve actually never been to Manhattan, but I heard it’s lovely and a great campus. I guess you could say I’m not very good at school rivalries. I think you’re referring to Mass. St. That crazy street. haha.
~SAT
That’s it! I’m not much of a rivalry kinda girl either. 😉
Congrats on your diploma Shannon,
I like you have mobility issues and most of the three years of university, seemed as if I was not really a University student, That is until, the last six months, focus shifted to dissertation mode. That’s when it really hit home. It still felt unreal until I got the marks and attended graduation.
Hope your book does well. Who is your publisher?
Regards Talia
Thank you 🙂 My current publisher is AEC Stellar Publishing, Inc.
Congratulations! I didn’t do the graduation ceremony walk either, but I have hung my diploma near my desk where it can inspire me every single day. It is a touchstone to what you have achieved.
Congratulations on the diploma, Shannon!
Signed up and voted for your novel – good luck!
Many congratulations on sticking with it and receiving your diploma too – you should be proud of what you have achieved!
